Got a Buick Power Steering Pump, from a 69-70 Skylark, was told. I am running power steering lines from pump to the steering gear. Have problems finding what the threads are on this fitting on the back of the pump. Got a Russell 620421, #6 90 degree fitting, to small, will not thread on. Tried a Russell 620491 # 8 hose, 90 degree, to big, slips right over.

Putting power steering on my Jeep with a 255 in it.

What are the threads on the fitting on the back of this pump?

That’s a normal 45* flared fitting (not sure of the size) AN fittings are 37* flares.

According to the 71 Buick Chassis manual, thread size is 5/8-18.

    1970 specs are the same.
