firewall padding

    I am puttting the underdash firewall together before the car goes to the paint shop. Heater, wiring, padding and so on. Is this the right order of assembly. Thanks Frank

    I believe the padding has to go under the heater.

    Frank,
    I would strongly recommend that you leave that stuff for installation after painting. I can guaranteeeeeeeeeeee.....the painters/sanders...will get dust everywhere. Less in the car, less place for dust to collect. Once you get the car back home....use high pressure air to blow out the interior with both door open and the rear windows down. Do this until you do not see any dust flying around.
