finned valley pan

    hi group, well i quess i have to give up, i just can not find a used finned valley pan for my riv. it was once suggested i purchase a new one and make it look old. any input on how to do that. looking to match the patina of my valve covers...thx vito

    let it sit in salt water is the only thing that I know of, good luck

    What is a finned valley pan....sorry i am learning....

    The Nailhead intake does not seal the top of the block, like it does on a later Buick. You need a valley pan underneath the intake, to seal up the crankcase. They are often "finned".

    Why is this thread in the for sale section??
