Where can I buy parts for this boat? my mom just crashed it into a telephone pole (yes shes ok) and we need some front end parts. front right render, new hood, bumper, bumper shocks (?) grill, lights, rad support, inner fender, etcetc

    ???

If we can't fix it i'm gonna buy it from my dad, put the 455 in my wildcat (baffed nailhead, prob needs rebuild but I want to drive it) and strip the car (alot of good parts on it)

    Thanks!

    try these folks:

The 75's are not too hard to find in the yards still...start calling around and hunting locally. It's much cheaper and easier to get big parts home when they're not 600 miles away.:beer

    Good luck!

If the car has cornering lights, 75 or 76 fenders (with cornering lights) will work. If it doesn't, you'll have to stick with a 75 fender.
75-76 Electra fenders will work too but they have one extra porthole, some Electras also have a large aluminium moulding and will miss the small one that's found on most LeSabres.
The 75-76 LeSabre hoods are the same and Electras have a similar one with a stainless moulding on it. 74 hoods will fit but they have portholes in them.

The 74-75 LeSabre bumpers are the same but some have bumper guards and some don't (anyway both will fit). 75-76 LeSabre and Electra header panels and grilles are interchangeable but they are all different.

If you decide to install the 455 in your Wildcat, you'll have to get another 400 transmission with a short extension or a Jeep adapter for the bellhousing. there are also many other things to modify or replace... And the 64 401 is much stronger than the 75 455 is.

    If you part it....

If you decide to part her out, I need some trim for my convert since I can't seem to sell it. Is it a 2 or 4 door? Color? There is also a guy in Montana who might be able to help you out with body parts...I've gotten some nice stuff from him in the past. Also, there is an auction this coming weekend in Larimore, ND for a 76 hardtop sedan that looks to be in good condition.

Smartin- I will start looking locally... but around here most have rotted away! :( andthat website has some awesome cars! I'll call them and see what I can get

Will the 455 and tranny not go into the cat together? I know its less power but this motor has 30000 miles on it (like new!) and runs far far better than my 425 Nailhead (which has been nothing but a pita... as much as I'd love to make it run right)

BF2KNIGHT- I'll keep you in mind if we part it out!
The car is a 75 Lesabre 4 door hardtop

    Thanks

The 75 tranny has a long extension, it won't fit in the Wildcat. The accessories, engine mounts and radiator will also have to be replaced.
