Does anyone know of a way to track down an old car. I used to have a 70 GS 455, tripple green, Stg 1 heads added, bench seat column shift non A/C car. I sold in to a guy named Rick Cobb in Mpls back in early 96. I know that he was originally from TN and was planning on moving back there. I want this car back Baaaad. Any ideas would be appreciated. The car was hit in the drivers side front fender, that happened the day after I bought it. Never fixed it before I sold it. I still have a copy of the VIN so If there is a way to do a search on the VIN I could. ou: Repeat Never Sell A GS :spank:

I think if you want to do a search on a vin number, you would have to contact the state DMV. I am not even sure if they would release that info. Personally what I would do is get a bunch of postcards with a picture on front and send them out to the above people with what you are looking for. It is possible that one of them might be the person or a relative of the person you are looking for. Also by sending a postcard, you would grab the intention of the receiver more. Who knows, even if none of them know of the vehicle, its possible you might make a new postcard friend!
