Well, guys. It finally happened. I got myself a job. I am now an industrial engineer for Lincoln Snacks in Lincoln, Ne. Most of you know their product. Fiddle Faddle, Poppycock and Screamin' Yellow Zonkers. It only took 11 months after getting fired from Tyson Foods because I needed to take care of my daughter's health needs instead of making the company first. She is doing much better and I am now employed again. It is, however, 120 miles a day round trip and a $16K pay cut, but at least I have something to do now!! Holy crap, it's 12:20. I better get to bed. Not used to that anymore!!
Howdy Greg, Welcome back to the work force, You will make up the long drive and 16K cut in no time. Bless You.
Hey Greg, Thats fantastic buddy, way to go! :TU: And I'll have you know that Zonkers are my all time favorite munchie food :Brow: That helps explain my somewhat screaming yellow belly ou: Keep those Zonkers a comin' :bglasses: Congratulations Greg! D
Hey, you will be working next door to me here at Square D what shift will you be working ? Congratulations Bud ! :beer
'Way to go Greg! Congrats! You'll get used to the commute in no time. Shari and I have been crossing our fingers - time to un-crimp them!
congrats on the new position !!! u did the right thing, before, in placing your daughter's welfare before work commitments...
All Right!!!!!!!!!! GREG, Congrats and Good Luck! :TU: GREAT NEWS! :Comp: Sounds like ya have to be a Smarty :Smarty: to work for them! Don
Greg Great to Hear ya have some luck going your way... Now go in there and get that weekend for Kearney off, and take no crap!!!!!! Good Luck John
Scott, I appreciate the prayers. It has been quite effective. She is scheduled to return home on the 23d!!! 1 year and 1 week from the day I put her into jail and got her intop the rehab.
Hey, Dana. Maybe you oughta be careful with them Zonkers or you won't be able to fit into an Opel!! :moonu:
Todd, I'll be on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks for training and then it's off to 2d shift. Don't really like 2d shift but what's a guy to do? o No: Was told if someone wants to change shift, I could get to 3d, but...
Loyd, if you and Shari have been crossing your fingers that long, they must be a remarkable shade of blue!!
Gerry, it was most definitely a 'no-brainer' to do it the way I did. If I hadn't intervened when and how I did, she would most likely be dead right now. Several of her user 'friends' are now dead and I think that it really drove home that it was all done out of love. Can't imagine what life would be like without "Squeak". :ball:
