Finally some progress

    After 8 years of sitting here waiting for something to happen after it was painted, we moved it yesterday to a friend's shop to start putting it back together. This is a rotisserie frame off resto and is a real 68 W30..Engine is a 68 Toronado 455 W34 same as the 68 Hursts used. Decided not to restore it, just build it the way I wanted and Olds should have years ago. 4 speed, 455, Hurst paint scheme in red/black, 15 inch chrome rims from a later Hurst. Never liked the band aid stripe on the 68 W30's.

    This is my last project and the most extensive so far after 45 years of 442's and Cutlasses...and about that many of them, too. Not sure what I'll do with it when it's done, plan to sell 2 of my cars and keep two for my grandsons. One of which is the Ramrod. 66 in the background is done, L69 4 speed, will be run in Pure Stock next year...
