this is not going to be a restoration more of a preservation, keeping original paint, repairing the seat cover, keepint the patina underhood, have #s matching motor from wing nut to oil pan, putting rings and bearings in it w a t/a 212 cam, a little head work, mandrell bent 2.5 exhaust, not going to paint motor, just clean real good, leave it matching rest of under hood, if you paint one thing, you gotta paint it all!!!! 116k actual miles, think it will be cool to be orig patina thru out!!!!!

I am loving this! The fact that you will not restore it is HUGE. As soon as I looked at the pics I was thinking how awesome it would be to leave like that and just DRIVE the crap out of it. Awesome score.

Thanks Jamie, its been along long time since I found a muscle car in this shape, Im old, graduated in 77, so back in my day it was very common to all kinds of muscle cars in this kinda shape, just sitting, ive had dozens of all kinds thru the years, this is best find ive had In 20 years or more, and its true keeper, also first one not getting a resto, but I actually call it a preservation, I intend to drive it a lot and race it a lot, thanks BTW where do you live?

Thanks, its the first time ive ever done it this way myself, ive been painstakingly cleaning the grime from the fender wells and under side of the hood, it is so hard to resist painting, the engine and brackets, and other underhood stuff, but I want the original un restored look, just because to me, its the right thing to do, it can only have original stuff once, after that it really doesn't matter, I am adding a stage 1 cam internally w forged pistons, im going to start posting some progress pics, thanks Ronnie
