Sorry for delay, I really appreciate you guys saying such nice things. Considering I deviated from the factory Buick thing I was afraid of the backlash! The backstory is that I bought it as a total rust bucket in the ghetto, no floors, Buick motor gone, etc. It's a skylark, I added some of the GS features but not all. I kept the Skylark grill because I liked it better. And I kept the skylark quarter pillar emblems but frenched them into the body. Fender gills are also frenched in. Some questions answered: Color is factory Buick for 67, blue mist (PPG 13364), same paint code as chevelle marina blue which is the more recognizable name. However, the new formulations with base clear makes it look a lot deeper than the original. The exhaust routing is hard to explain, I'll post some pictures of the chassis and that might shed some light. To the fellow in Vancouver: I'm near Portland Oregon, I'll take it to Cars n Coffee this coming summer. If not familiar with that get together, PM me. Would definitely like to chat with a local guy with two 67s! The rear tires are 29X18 wide on 18" diameter wheels. They're Mickeys, Sportsman S/Rs. And guess what, they don't make them any more. I'm dreading the inevitable issue... The motor is a ripper - it's an SB2 Chevy, dry sump 355" motor like we run in the GT1 stock cars, but this one is down-tuned for the street and fuel injected to help it be more polite. With the mild cam, it made 620HP on the dyno at 8300 RPM. Basically it's a stupid motor for a street car and it's unpleasant to drive. Oopsie! Rear gear is a 4.56 so that helps. With Trishield emblem machined into the valve covers. Had a ton of help from my good friends at Profinish Motorsports and Benchmark Fab. Also bought some parts from board members! Ben
