Finally a 455 for the wagon

  1. I have a 78 Century wagon that was originally a V6 car, and I've been looking around for a good Buick V8 to drop in, with no luck.

In the meantime I dropped in a '70s Olds 350 just to have a little fun with. No sooner did I get that in, and the person I bought it from lets me know he ran across a '70 Electra that had been in storage for nearly 20 years, but suffered from a leaky garage roof and was now minus a chunk of firewall.

We made a deal and I'm now in possession of a 1970 Buick 455, 23,559 miles. It is completely stock down to the original hoses, clamps, battery cables, carb, everything.

Just wanted to share that another 455 has been given a new lease on life:beer

I just wondered what happened. It's been 5 months. Is the 455 in the Century wagon? Was it tough to install? Does it go like stink?
