Anyone else have to do this today/any other day? I had to fight through 9 blocks of people wanting to drop off their kids on the first day of school to drop my little brother off this morning, and when I say 9 blocks, that's around 3 bends, across a bridge and up a huge hill. Bumper to bumper the entire way.

Every year. Universities and schools increase the traffic load as parent start dropping off the kids. The wierd part is, they're far safer on public transit or walking!! Not for toddlers etc, but 12+ statistically the roads are the number 1 killer.

I was just remarking this AM how the commute has increased. Mom's and Dad's must be all leaving together now that school has started.

Ten additional minutes to my 17 mile commute.

    Booo commute. :Do No:

And this is in a city of 22k, I'd hate to live in a city twice the size.
