    Ok all,

I'm you've all be a little curious as to where the F1 pictured on the 350 ended up...... here's your answer.......

It took a while to fab the pipes, and they still need to be coated, but so far so good. After chipping at the tune block, 6 tunes later and it's pretty close, another 2 or 3 minor adjustments and I think it will be golden. :3gears:

When are you going to take the new setup for some trips down the track or some g-tech runs? Ill be making the first official passes with your old setup up at the Nats.

I will not make an full passes with the car until the tune is 100% rock solid and stable. It's very close and would probably survive the way it is, but I don't want to take any chances.

Track doesn't open here for another month. I will hopefully be able to make that.

Nice upgrade. Glad to see your block is holding up good. What happened to the cold air intake?

How much did you end up changing with the swap?

That looks stunning. You will have to post some more numbers and specs when you get it all dialed in and run a few times. This is very interesting and encouraging.

Cold Air intake I made is sitting on the ground since there isn't any room for it with the cold pipe running up that side. I figured taking the extra 180 degree's out of the intercooler pipe would be worth losing the Cold Air inlet. I also thought since the F1 isn't going to spin as hard as the D1, there would be less heat to take out anyway. I'm going to build a little heat shield to mount between the header and the filter. That should help some.......

Nothing else internally changed with the charger swap. However moving the carb hat inlet to the drivers side, through the tune all off. The way the hat sits now, the vent tubes are getting way more pressure than they were. I've taken a tone of jet out of it, and increased the size of the air bleeds. There still a bit of part throttle tuning to be done, but WOT is happy right now.

I'm seeing about 9.5 PSI with the huge pulley on there, and I honestly believe I'm making more power now that I was at 13psi with the D1. The Sticky mickeys don't hold anymore, and it's easy to make a nice cloud of tire smoke from a 20mph roll :3gears:

Probably won't make it to the track for another 2 or 3 weeks.......
