    Hi George.

I have Fel-Pro # 8494PT for the individual head gasket, and # HS8494PT as the "Head Set" - I guess it includes valve cover gaskets, stem seals, etc. (Numbers taken from their web page.)

Not sure about the over bore.

I wonder if those and the TA Orange head gaskets are the same thickness?

    Thanks

The Orange Crush gaskets are about .040". I think that's about what the Fel-Pro's are. I thought I had a pair of Fel-Pro's laying around, but it turned out they were Sealed Power. For what it's worth they measured .050" uncompressed.

Are these for your new aluminum heads?

I know what you mean. It's hard to argue with success. Maybe it's more critical with the aluminum heads? :Do No: I would guess that the aluminum will expand and contract at a different rate that the iron did, and that the surface finish might be different too. Sounds like a question for one of the Jims.
