    From racing in the 1960’s. Pretty famous in our area. Part Owner of two circle tracks in our area. And was the accountant for both. (That’s what my father and mother did for a living at home in their offices.

    Wynn's was a big sponsor of auto racing in the 60's. I hadn't even thought about them until the above was posted. My guess is that with the availability of modern really good synthetic oils, Wynn's reason for being is gone.

    Update: I got curious and found that Wynn's and Wynn's Friction Proofing are still around!

    It was quite dangerous back then. The helmet dad wore was super thin and tiny. Open face. He crashed a couple times. And broke his collar bone more than once.
    It wasn’t oncoming for deaths to happen
