I Can help here this is just from memory so it might be off a couple of hundredths.

    Tim huaffner 10.02 134
    Gary Laufflin 10.11 131
    Perry carlini 10.16 132

These are all stage 2 cars so they weigh 3800 pounds
Last year most everyone was in the 10.30 range

Pro Street seems two have a couple of dominate cars that run 9.50's to 9.60 all the time but there are guy's that are high 9.'s

    Warren heaps 9.40s
    Jim turner 9.50.s
    Steve Cagle 9.50's

I don't run Pro Street so I would have to look up the numbers if you would like me to be more specific than that in that class.

All of the guys you mentioned know what its like to stare at the clouds! Great classes with very competitive cars.

Years back,Steve Cagle went some 9.40's in some "Once in a lifetime air".
Jim Turner has gone 9.51 and I don't believe Warren Heaps has been in the .40's but has gone .50's.
As parts present themselves I hope to quietly sneak from my present 9.60's dowm into the 8's.
All w/o a power adder of any sort.......That means we'll be lookin' for about 1000 HP of pure BUICK...........I can Dream, can't I?

Wow.134 mph takes around 750 horsepower according to my calculations. Is that through tailpipes and small tires in eliminator trim?

Gary if you went to the Nats couldn't you race in one of those classes listed above? Your car could be very competitive as well.

I ran PS at BG in '01/'02 and didn't take the car this past year due the weather forecast........Still kickin' myself over that:af:
This past year was my best chance...the weather held off and the winning run was right about where my car has run all Summer.

Still need more power though,Stay tuned:eek2:

Yes that is through the pipes and in GSE trim. That car was flying that year. He kind of hurt it on his last pass of the night. Seems most of the cars are in the 130 to 132 range. I went several mid 131's this late summer and the car weighs in at 3865# with my fat butt in it. I would like to get it to run a little Quicker than I do. Those other guy's are just flying I'm looking forward to this year and racing all the guy's again. It's no an A body but Bruce Kent has drove Dave Beniseks car to A 9.98 at over 134 also.

I may not et yet but I have been 133.4 mph and a best of 10.18 (not at the same race) with a 4000 lb car! As I start to get a handle on the ole street car I seem to be closing the 10 sec era and getting ready to make a change to the single digits.............. I hope soon!!

Just wondering what size your engine sizes are Jim H and Mike G, and does anyone have any dyno numbers that the heads up classes(street eliminator, and pro street)enigines are making.Would like to hear from some people that have run and what kind of power they make.Thanks.:TU:
