My pet got out of her cage while I was cleaning it...Ever try to get ahold of one of these things with open floor.Took several snacks to entice her from under the bed....Meet Chloe.. Pat
Tony, In a word....Yes! She can really move about.I have her in my finished attic, but when I let her out....lookout.It usually takes me 10 minutes at the least to get her..They are very high strung but very good at being litter trained. She is about 3 1/2 years old.
Frank, Yes when they sell them in Pa ,they must be descented and neutered. They have a musk smell that is faint, but, I get a spray that keeps her from smelling. You only have to use it once every few weeks,But, her litter pan must be emptied often. Not that much else upkeep to them.My sister has 2 in her house. She likes them too.And you can't smell them any more than a cat or dog if you take care of them.I took her to my vet and got her rabie shots and similar shots you give a cat. When we had ferrets we'd let them out to play, and to get them back in the cage (sometimes they didn't want to go back) we'd put out a blue plastic shopping bag - they loved to crawl in and hear the sound of the bag. Didn't have them demusked, and the only time the one would spray is when she was given a bath. They'd not even nail the dog when she tried to play with them.
