This may be a goofy question, but here goes. Does the fan shroud from an Electra / full size Buick, with a 455 match the Skylark/GS fan shroud?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Larry,
Thanks alot, I bought a motor, trans and radiator from the junk yard last week for misc. parts that I may need and the fan shroud almost looks new. I was hoping it would work and save myself a $100 on a repro.
BTW this yard does have several undisturbed Large Buicks in it. 1960's- 1980's
I just got for Bruce Durband a near perfect roof for his GS, for little to nothing.
I'll be going back next week, so......

    No, the 70 GS455 shroud is # 1330000 and 71-72 is # 1238973.

    Yes,
The 70 shroud, and 71-72 shrouds are different, but they will interchange. The 70 has a 20" opening and takesa screw on hose hook. The 71-72 has a 22" opening and uses a strap for the upper hose.

Hey, I might be interested in one of those radiator shrouds if you happen upon any more!! Let me know what you run into if you go back. Thanks in advance, Leon
