Patrick Swayze's '65 Riv

 

Hey hey its the Monkeys. George Barris custom based on pontiac. The Monkee-mobile is a Pontiac GTO convertible customized for the Monkees' TV show and for special touring promos early in their career. The car has a 389 Pontiac V8 with 3 2-barrel carburators. The car features a custom fiberglass front and hood (to accomodate the blower), special "the Monkees" logo painted on both doors, custom chrome exhaust and a custom convertible top.

 

As far as I'm concerned,they ruined a perfectly good GTO....but I guess that's just my opinion.
