My Dad is under the impression that we were born and raised in Poland even though nobody since my great grandfather ever set foot there. I find this fantasy very dissrespectful to people who do live there since I've never known the hardship of life in such a poor country. Anyhoo, He started doing this geneological thing and was boasting about it like crazy for about six months. Then he stopped and never brought it up again:Do No: . I did a little investigating and I found the trouble. Seems he found Austrian heritage. Do I even need to say what that means? My guess is that he found people that belonged to a certain "political party" that I'd rather not mention. Good one Dad.

Dan, does this mean you're a Republican? (JK)

My Mom did extensive research on our family's lineage through the local Church of Later Day Saints, AKA the Mormans.
They have everyone's records in the cave's of Utah also accessable through the internet now I beleive. One of the interesting things she discovered was that my great, great, great, Grandfather
Alexander Mckee was one of the founding fathers of Stewart Iowa, named so as a tribute to Scottish royalty who forced him out of Scotland go figure.
and on the other side of the tree found a link, thin though it may be, to Samual Adams (love his beer) and John adams (havent drank his). The stuff I found most interesting was the tax records of reletives living back in the 1800s.
Where they list taxable property such as land, livestock, horses and womenfolk(JK)
