Hey everyone, does anyone know what the factory bore for a 1965 Buick Skylark 300 would be ? I just removed the one in my Skylark and am rebuilding it, we need to know that before we bore it 30 over so we can get the right piston size. I have a Year One catolog but am not sure if it tells specks on it.

I took the motor out and we got it down to the block, the main berings are shredded in the pan, the cam is almost destroyed and you could move the timing chain an inch in (bad slag) either that motor is really good or everything was put in it to break at once LOL. I will also need new lifters since it took a punch to take them out. The dist is stuck in there tight also. The best part is just before we took it out, I started it right up and let her idle to get some antifreeze in the thing before winter. Started right up with no hesitation! :jd:We are hoping to get at least 300 or a little more hp out of it hehe, over sized cam everything but a blower OH YEAH, should make her fly. I know the original motor had some zip to it stock but after the rebuild the new buick 300 bored 30 over 310 will be quicker :TU:
