A guy here in the KC area is intent on replacing the 401 in his '63 Riviera with a late model V8 w/ od trans. I tried talking him out of it, but with no success. Anyway, the engine in the '63 hasn't been started for a while but it will turn over just by rotating the fan. As it sits, it has a Holley carb w/ manual choke. The engine is totally complete and that's the way the guy wants to sell it. Another guy and I just bought a '63 Riviera parts car w/ no engine. The front fenders, and hood are going the the car from which the 401 will be pulled. I'm taking the rear quarters for my '63. The door skins are going on another guy's '65. Everything else is for sale. I've grabbed some of the smaller parts to save for the restoration of my '63 but there's still a lot left. Make an offer on the engine and/or transmisson. If we decide to get it running, I'll let everyone know, but we'll then set a price when that happens. Ed
