I have been working on the FI for the 455 in the Regal, here are a couple of pics of what I have done so far.

Picture #1 is the 85-88' 58mm BBK TPI throttle body, and the custom "AIRBOX" I built to use it on the T/A 4bbl intake I have.
The "AIRBOX" is contructed out of 6"x6" extruded aluminum, and I welded
a front and back onto it. I cut out the bottom to fit the Q-jet shape opening on the intake. The front panel was cut out the oval shape of the throttle blades, and bolt holes drilled and tapped.

Picture #2 is the fuel rail I built out of extruded fuel rail stock, cut to length, and 4 holes bored (.535" dia.) in the calculated locations. The injectors are
secured to the fuel rail with 1/2" e-clips, and a 6-32 screw to hold each injectior to the rail. Next for the rails will be installing a fuel pressure regulator from 89' quad4 engine. This rail is for the passanger side, the driver side will be identical, only with the fuel inlet fitting instead of the fpr.

Picture #3 is my #2 Megasquirt e.c.u., it has the flyback board installed for the 8, 30lb, low-z, quad-4 injectors I will be running.

    More pictured after more progress!

    Interesting! Looks good.

I don't know if there is a way to check this, but make sure that you will not get more airflow to the front cylinders than the back cylinders (or vice-versa) with that setup. One time I did an experiment and blocked off one of the two primary throttle bores on my car, and found out that I got almost a 20% airflow discrepancy side-to-side under regular driving conditions.

    What size injectors?
