H guys, I was just wondering what exhaust system would work nicely on my 77 electra. Its all stock right now and i just wanted to let it breathe a little more. I think a true dual would be hard on this car so would the stock exhaust pipes sound ok if i hollowed out the cat and put on a cherry bomb muffler with maybe some headers? What do you guys have on your rides??
Depending on the state you could get yourself in a position such that the car could no longer pass inspection.
Well ther are two other considerations. One --is whether the inspections will come to you and /or two --you deicde to sell the car and your potential customer base lives where they inspections apply.
Hehe, I'm 17 and I'm certainly not selling my first car. I'll deal with the emmisions test when/if they arrive. But for the mean time I want my 403 to breathe. Its not like i'm going straight pipe or anything, but I think I want the cat outta there. Even if i left it on would a single cherry bomb sound decent and preform better with a set of headers??
