Exhaust question

    Wasn't sure where to put this one, but is there any advantage/disadvantage to having the exhaust exit before the rear wheel? I assume it is probably a bit louder, but aside from that? :Do No:
    My car is a Skylark, so originality is not a big concern.

    Exhaust promotes corrosion. From that position it should cover the rear wheels and the rear quarter pretty good.

    the short exhaust means more noise, a little less back pressure, but much greater chance of deadly carbon monoxide fumes entering the passenger compartment .
