My parts book is showing a different exhaust manifold (drivers side) between
'64 and '65. The correct manifolds for a 401/425 '65 Riv are 137480 and 1367159. Anyone know :Do No: which manifolds will fit the car? Thanks Ian

I show 1367159 is for a 65-66 (LH). Is that your question? The 480 is for a 64 -66 (RH)

Ian-There shouldn't be any diff. The driver's is the same for a number of years until '66 and the end of production. The passenger side is the same '64-6 The '63 and earlier has the integral heater riser, while '64-6 has the seperate-hope that gets you going

I've seen 2 different styles for the left side. This is hard to explain, but on the ears that the exhaust pipe flange attaches to.........the early style has threads in ears that both are open ended. The later style only has one ear and the other thread is a blind hole with no ear. :Smarty:

IMO, that was a stupid thing, as the casting is very thin where the bottom of the hole meets the runner......the one on my old '66 developed a pinhole and I had to have it welded. I have both styles up in the garage but I'm too lazy to go out and take a pix. :bglasses:

Sorry, I was looking for the difference between the '64 drivers side manifold and the '65-66.
If I can rephrase, are manifolds on '63 and prior cars such as wildcat, electra
300's unsuitable for the '65 Riv.

Thanks, difference between '64 and '65/66 noted. Are the prior years to '63 different flange as well?

63 and 64 (LH) are the same. There were alot of dfferent numbers going back to the 50s that are different among years. It suggests something about them is not corect for a 65 but it does not necessarily mean you will not find one that wil not bolt up.

The 300 CI manifolds are totally different.

As for the '63-'66 401/425 left side, they should all bolt in without any problems. I don't know about the earlier ones, though. :bglasses:
