Ok, the factory didn't use em on at least my car. The flepro set has exhaust manifold gaskets in the set. I seem to remember from my dealership days using them on 3.8's and then having to take the gaskets back out to get them to seal.

The heads and manifold look flat with a staight edge, any input for or against them? Any sealers out there to help seal em?

Also looking for the choke thermostat gasket (on the intake manifiold) local stores don't show a listing. Anybody know the part number?

    Thanks!

My car has never had exhaust manifold gaskets.

Came from the factory that way.

Just tighten to about 16 lbs. torque (factory spec), and they seal pretty well.

    gaskets

mine had gaskets. though the # 8 cylinder started leaking.

the engine has 138k miles on it. both sides have gaskets. I know atleast oneside had bolts replaced. (the bolts don't match on either side) it had ones with a goofy locking washer sorta attatched by the threads (wont slip off)

i'm guessing that atleast one side was replaced.
