Guys I need to weld the cracks in my manifold and the bolt/studs are broke. Anyplace sell kits for the 350 Buick It's the passenger side. 6 are stud style 3/8 x 16 pitch (2) are 4.5", (4) 2.5" (1) is 1.5" can you help me. i am looking at ARP and simple Dorman products? Wayne S
Are you asking about the bolts that go in the head or the bolts that connect to the exhaust pipe? Can you post pictures?
Exhaust manifold to head bolts/studs. I replaced them with bolts and removed the heat shield, now I am ready to put the heat shield back on and cannot find the studs.
So the heat shield covers the manifold? Sounds like a Jeep specific part, the only heat shield on a car is over the starter and bolts to the block. Have you had any luck on a Jeep forum? One option is to have a machine shop make you some bolts with the stud on top for the shield, like what the cars use fot the thermosat housing with a gs air cleaner.
