I had pipes installed in my tips a few years back to act as resonators and I wish I hadn't. Here is the story. I went to the exhaust shop to have a simple tack weld put on my tail pipe and they discovered that both of my tail pipes near the tips were misaligned and about 50% restricted. To add to this I just pulled my intake and found out that my exhaust crossover was also about 50% blocked with carbon. So how much has this hurt my performance? Was all my dyno tuning a waste? When resolved can I expect to see my times at the track improve drastically?
