    I thought Alan "69GS400s" ran this guy out of town the last time he tried to pull a SCAM..........I would stay away.......far, far away from this E-Bayer.......Preapproved bidders......sounds to me like an "INFORMATION GATHERER".

    Maybe he's one of "TRICKY DICKYS" relatives!!!!!!!:blast: :blast: :blast:

    Yeah, and dig the VIN. "000000000000"

    That's helpful. :rolleyes: :error:

    I wasn't aware someone else had a problem with this person. I had no plans on bidding, I was just posting it as an FYI to whoever was interested.

    Well, it looks like the auction for that Potugese Buick has been pulled, agian.
    I can't say that I'm not surprised. :rolleyes:
    In a way, Im kinda sorry for that clown, especially since he just sent me another email. :Brow:

    So, anyone got any suggestions on how I should continue to play this fish now that I've got him baited?? :Do No: :laugh:

    P.S. I know better than to send this jerk any money via Western Union, or any other wire transfer service for that matter. :TU:

    Tell him you have a friend in Portugal or Spain who is gonna check out the car for you.

    BTW: I would love to see the shipping charges on an air delivered car :puzzled:

    I thought about that one but unfortunately I don't know anyone who is over there right now.
    Besides, I wouldn't want to involve anyone that I know in messing with this lousy con operator.
    I'm more interested in wasting their time and giving them a false sense of hope by playing on their greed and stupidity. :laugh:

    Here's what I came up with...

    Let's see if this bait gets swallowed. :Brow:

    I think it would be fun to send them chasing me to a hotel, that I really don't plan on checking into, and have them walk in there and ask for me.
    They are sure to get around to asking for my phone number, that's what the Homer DePoe name is for.
    When I get pressed for a phone number in which they want to talk to me on, I will give them the phone number to my local Home Depot store.
    The best thing is that any worker at Home Depot who picks up the phone will say "Home Depot can I help you".
    Immediately the jerk will think they are already talking to me.

    :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    What a Dope!!

    I got this carp tugging pretty hard on my line. :Brow:
    Here's the latest email that I got;

    ...and here's my reply to it using Peter's suggestion with a few twists intended to push a few buttons.
    It's gonna get interesting if he responds to this;

    :laugh: :bglasses: :laugh:

    How did this ever pan out? This sounds like some scams that were used for other big ticket items like big screen TV's. Ebay had a flood of these a while back.
