OK, looks like the NPD will fit. Close, but 41.5 is just enough it seems.

So anyway I got a call today from one of the companies I had talked to, they had dug up some kind of original drawings and were prepared to make me a set, completely red (positive cable) and correct other than the positive cable "block" which I would need to supply (either first to have put on before crimps or later by myself). They were also prepared to add them to their catalog but somewhat hesitant due to low volume and no supply of those blocks.

What can I say, I ordered them. I DO have two cars anyway... The block can go on later, I'm working on making those myself as well.

When they get here will update everything and get the p/n's out, want to make sure they are ok first. Sounds to me like they get the cables premolded and then they cut to length, add parts, crimp and package. Be cool to find out who supplies the "blanks"...

And then thats it, no more battery cables for me!!! :Dou:

    Hey Tim,
I would be interested in a few of those cables. I'm sure Bill Van Steen would possibly buy a few also with all of his 72's.
I can see what I have for those plastic blocks. I think I had bought a couple years ago from a guy.

Once they get here I will give them the once over, post some pics and we'll see what we think. maybe we could do a group purchase or something??? I could use another set, I know a guy who wants two sets, Bill as you said needs about 1000!!!
