Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

I have a running 455 out of a 71 gs 455 car that I parted out I am considering putting this in my 1972 skylark convertible and my problem is this when it comes to motors I know very little. I am looking for someone to rebuild this motor and I want it to be very streetable as I do not go to the track that offten I would like it to be a step up from stock but not a ground pounder. I live in NC and would like them to be near by but I would not mind if I have to take it somewhere for it to be right. My main thing is I want it to be very strong meaning durable not strong as in horse power although lets face it that would be a great thing also. any advice would be great also any recamendations of things to do to the motor " a lot of you have learned a lot over the years in building and tearing these motors down and I would like to know what to do to make this engine last a long time and feel like I could drive it coast to coast at the drop of a hat " thanks to all
