so one more question for you. I am hooking up all of my interior and I got all of the windows installed and aligned. I have power windows. I worked on them by just running a hot wire from the battery so I could work them up and down for alignment purposes. Once complete I went to hook up the power buttons and they did not work. So I started at the fuse panel and I do have 12V from the fuse block to the red/black stripe wire going to the window relay. If I jumper the red/black to the red/white all of the window buttons work, so my problem is obviously at the relay. But There is also a pink wire at the relay and the diagram says it goes to the fuse block also. Where does that hook to? Ignition? Accessory? Second question is the routing of power. If the pink wire AND the red/black are on the fuse block then they both have 12V???? Where does the 12V going to the pink wire make it to ground??? Is it through the relay housing? Finally is there a way to test that relay to see if it is working correctly? Thanks
Rob, You need the 1970 Fisher Body Manual. It will ID the wiring and show you how to troubleshoot the Power Windows. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...0.l1313&_nkw=1970+Fisher+Body+Manual&_sacat=0
Hi Folks... My 70GS air cleaner has two small holes in the base and I'm wondering what these are for? Charcoal canister line to the one by the breather inlet? Thanks for your help. Ron
The bigger hole is for the charcoal canister connection. That would be a California emissions car I believe. The smaller hole, I don't know. I'll have to look at mine next time I am in the garage.
Just the bigger hole. If I remember correctly, the hose came from the charcoal canister, and the other end used a plastic elbow that fit into that hole. I've only seen it once or twice, but I believe that was it. Someone will post a picture, eventually. Edit, found this with a search. And on Ebay, https://www.ebay.com/itm/181546394185
