I just purchased a corvettes seven blade fan(with the fan clutc) and it happens to be a little too big for my 350 shroud and the center bore is too short.

I was wondering if I was to put this fan on a buick fan clutch and was to trim the blades. Would it be worth it?

or should I try to re-sell it and get the buick one.

    Help me please.

well I was going to say to just get the correct fan because you'd never get the fan blades cut equal and balanced but then I saw you're a turbine mechanic and probably can get at some pretty good balancing equipment,:Brow: but I think I'd still just get the correct fan and be done with it. Your clutch with the incorrect pilot depth doesnt help matters either.
