engine code#s

hey everyone....ive found a buick 455 engine and im trying to identify what year it is and what it came out of the only #s ive found were on the intake and behind the block, center above the trany the # on the top was just above the firing order it was b 1236403 and the one in the back is 1231738 do these mean anything?

 

70-71 block

If you're looking for the application code it is a two letter code stamped on the block next to the oil dipstick.

70 used SF SS SR
71 used TR TA TS
