I was looking at a picture of my firewall, wondering how I could clean it up and move some stuff around to make it less "busy", when I start working on it. I saw an electrical box that I don't know what it does, or what it's for. It is between the voltage regulator and the windshield wiper motor. It looks like it's aluminum, and has a couple of wires connected to it, one at each end, on the bottom. Anybody know what this thing is and what it does?
Is this on a '70 and does it have air conditiong? If so, it's your blower motor relay. Horn relay is under the dash on a 70...close to the radio.
Re: Re: Electrical unit - What is it? Doo Wop is correct .... Blower fan relay , and yes the horn relay is under the dash near the front speaker area . :Smarty: :Brow: :TU:
Hey, I know what that is! It's the fill cap for your headlight fluid. Uh, if you didn't even know what that was I'm certain you've never checked the fluid level. You may want to top that off before your headlights go out.
I'll have to remember to do that, right after I change the air in my tires, at 3000 miles. p Yes, it is a 70, with A/C. Thanks for helping me figure out what it is. I'm just trying to move everything that I can, off the firewall, into a more secluded spot to help reduce some of the clutter.
