I am re-wiring my 68 Skylark. Does anyone know where I can buy new plastic plugs for all of the accessories? How about the brass inserts that go in the plastic plugs. I have bought all that will work from Ron Francis, but I need others. Any help?

I am unable to find the plastic covers for nearly all our connections. Some are unique and house 2, 3 or 4 clips at once.

So I reused mine (except for the couple "single" ones that I got from NAPA.

The female inserts are available from NAPA. I don't have the part numbers, but I looked through their books until I found them. You remove the old ones by depressing a tab on the back with a narrow thin blade. They slide right out. The new ones slide right in.

Search under parts for sale . There is a guy who has a large inventory of them for sale through this Board.

Also - in Hemmings under electrical - usually the guys who vend harnesses can be a source of the connectors. Some only sell the stuff while others are licensed GM guys....those ar who you want to hook up with
