As close to the tank as you can. You can push a liquid a lot farther the you can pull it. Ted

Here's one David. This was a early picture before the job was complete. It's along the drivers side frame rail. I rubber mounted the bracket to minimize vibration through the frame.

If I had to do it again I'd go with the Mallery 140, I hear they are quieter than most (more expensive). I getting tired of the mad bumblebee sound from my Summit model (Aremotive copy)

I also installed a FRAM large canister fuel filter (#0410HPG1 from JEG'S) behind {[EDIT] in front of} the tank up high in the center. Do not use the standard small filter they will limit fuel flow! Good Luck.

O.K. I meant in front of the tank for the filter. Here's a picture, orientation may be confusing...

One more for fun. I remember it being a little tuff to install, but not too bad. Remember to allow some slack in your fuel line for movement.

    250 GPH pump

I want to hijack this thread to ask if anyone is using the 250 Mallory fuel pump on the street.

My question is what is the life expectancy compared to other electric pumps being used on the street?
