Electric fan recommendation Buick Century 350

I created a thread with that video in it for the purposes of educating people about parasitic loss from fans.

These are all facts, dyno proven, and not theories or bench racing.

But even with the video showing dyno proven numbers, people STILL want to bicker about it and call it bogus, arguing that their fan of choice is somehow superior and doesn't really take that much power to turn... (it was the same reactions in that transmission thread I started where no one wanted to believe parasitic loss was even worth bothering with)

Believe whatever you want, use whatever you want. Just know there is information out there that will help improve things, even if you choose not to believe/use them.

 

Here is a trial by the guys from hot rod magazine, including Dyno pulls. I'm definitely going to swap the fan and clutch for an aluminum radiator and fans .
