I want to find some wider steelies for my 68 electra, it has the original rims, 15". this car apparently has a 5x5" bolt pattern, and I would like some 7 inch wide wheels that will fit. Any clues on what will fit with the fender skirts tirewise? there seems to be not much room in there, and I will possibly need short sidewalls just to be able to change a flat. This will be acceptable as it will lower the car a bit and improve the effective gear ratio.
