Is anyone selling the Performer who has it in-stock for immediate shipping? All this back-order stuff can mean many months, if ever.

You’re a lot better off keeping what you have.

 

I picked one up off the Summit dump table for $200. Went back the following weekend and picked up a Denso mini starter for $80.

Summit has a section of their store where opened returns go to get resold. Sometimes kits are missing a few parts, sometime things like intakes and carbs there is nothing wrong at all with.

Me personally I've never seen a bbb dedicated part there when I've been through.....but I only go a few times a year........its a 3 hr drive for me so I normally just have them ship

 

I would part with the one I have.

Any chance you'd still have the starter part number? Is it for a 455?

I just received mine the other day. I haven't tried to put it in yet. (maybe I should get out from behind my computer and give it a shot?)

The best part is it's only $171.00 more than one for a BBC!
