eddlebrock heads

    hello . i have removed the inner springs from my heads for first start up of the engine and i have a broken valve stem lock . the heads are the eddy 60049 can anyone tell me the size of the stem locks please. cheers kev

    You need locks for 11/32" stem valves
    Like a Jegs 955-205-30.

    It's a standard 7* 11/32 lock.. do yourself a favor, and install machined valve locks on those heads when you put it back together. Who knows what Chinese junk comes with those heads.. Breaking a valve lock, in that situation, is a huge red flag.
    Retainers, Locks and seals are automatically changed when we use those heads here, and well as correcting the typically way too tight valve guide clearance, and concentricity of the valve job.
