DEADMANSCURVE my first word : truck

on phone twice with customer svc concerning two sales I made . both boxes ( holley carbs ) were same size n weight , ups ground . I am upstate ny , one went to texas , one going wed to upstate ny . both ebay shipping estimates said $17.66 . ups ground $17.66 to texas - no way . realized that on my eBay list that if I ship to myself shipping is $17.66 .
talked with customer svc - in the phillipines ! - oh boy - both people very nice but I don't think they were totally grasping the amount of customer frustration since the same thing happened one week after i talked to the first CS rep - WITH NO FIX .
the second lady at CS told me this morning that they have a problem with their USPS shipping estimates . when it finally sunk in that mine were both ups shipping that really confused her . she told me the USPS problem has been going on a month . the first guy called me back this afternoon today and told me that the fix could be up to 90 days . they need better tech guys .
anyway - dbl check your estimates prior to shipment . I just relisted 4 items , added a big header stating NOT to pay me prior to checking with me on shipping charges . just an idea for ya .

Yep, run into that as a buyer on some pushrods. They said shipping would be something like $70 from Oregon to here in Montana. I messaged the guy and he got an actual shipping cost, then we negotiated a price which I bid and he accepted under the "make an offer" option.
