Did any of you boys in the midwest feel the earthquake over the weekend? Where were they, in Alaska and Ohio?

Greg Schmelzer What are you looking at?!

Believe it or not, Mark, there was a small one in Nebraska, too. I didn't feel it here in Omaha, but I hear on the news that it rattled plates and windows in Central Nebraska!:eek2:

And I thought that all we had to worry about was tornadoes. Silly me!

    4.3???

    Is that all??
Around here, that wouldn't even roll most folks out of bed in the morning let alone be a top news story.
Alaska migrating to the midwest would be newsworthy.

"Alaska migrating to the midwest would be newsworthy." Funny since northern Nebraska already had around 6" of snow this season.

Although I didn't feel it, the Alaska quake (7.9) was reported to have had some effects here in WA.

Down here in New Orleans, the lake became rough, boats rocked and swimming pools had waves in them. The University of New Orleans olympic size pool had waves in it so big that it flooded the building where the pool is. The ground didn't shake though.

That would feel like a "magic fingers" bed indeed, unless the bookcase on the wall next to it fell on you.
I can laugh at that because it happened to me the morning of the big one here in Northridge a few years back.:gt:

I didn't feel anything out here in Ohio (Cleveland) though one of my friends said she felt a tiny shake in a building on campus.
