Yes I know the one on the right is for a 70-76 455 powered car. I had a 71 station wagon and I just do not remember the additional extention being on its snorkel so I am guessing it is from a 72-76.o No: The one on the left Is a mystery. I am guessing it is from a Buick 350 car. .o No:
Re: More Air Cleaner Housings ID Needed Looks like an air cleaner housing off a Chevelle. More Chevelle parts? Jim, is there something you want to tell us?
Re: More Air Cleaner Housings ID Needed Thanks Jason I am going through piles of stuff. I am going to ID, post and sell. Spring cleaning is on. What year Buick for the one on the right?
Re: More Air Cleaner Housings ID Needed The snorkel on the right one looks like a 71, but they don't have that large intake attachment. Here is a photo from an original 75 LeSabre, though.
Re: More Air Cleaner Housings ID Needed Yes this is just an insert into what otherwise appears to be a stock air cleaner like the one I had on a 71 Estate Wagon. I thnk your picture solves the mystery of the insert. It was for a later model with a remote inlet and duct. Many thanks for the assist.
Re: More Air Cleaner Housings ID Needed Price = $25 plus shipping and packing as charged by Ship on Site here locally. Location = NC
Re: More Air Cleaner Housings ID Needed It's definitely not anything 72-73. I was thinking no earlier than 75.
The insert into the end of the snorkel for the duct pulls out and leaves what I think is the same snorkel and housing used in the early 70s.
