I've had an early '70 since 1989 and I have never even SEEN one of the plastic rad covers in person, if that gives a clue. I am betting the one I'm missing got broken the first time the engine was tuned up:laugh:

It's like a guy who has a Rembrandt in his basement.

he goes down there and admires it. I'll never understand that. I would have a professional high quality photo of the Rembrandt taken, then I'd sell the useless thing. I'd still have my pretty picture, I'd have money in hand, and I'd stop being worried about dust mites on my priceless painting.

It's yours, Dustin, do what you want, but I'll never understand holding onto stuff, just to have it. That part could finish a restoration.

and you sold me a star wars air cleaner which may end up on my car depending on how nice I can make it look. It's pretty rough! But sweet:Brow: I had never seen one up close before I opened that box up the other day. It's BIG!!

    Dustin,

I might be interested in the cover too if it is in good shape with no cracks and depending on the price!

    Dustin -

For informations sake: I picked one up off of ebay last year for 35.00 maybe it was grisby's LOL.........I've also got one or two spares laying around the garage here. It's an early 70 (read 1969 production) part.

    Good Luck!

    Steve
