I talked to one of our local engine dyno shops about dyno service, and they claimed I will have to use dyno headers as the dyno is too wide to use my headers. He said he would inquire about them and I expressed my doubts that they even exist for the BBB. I'm thinking I should find another dyno

Here is a picture of my engine on the Dyno. They do look like they go straight down. Maybe ask JW.

You really want to dyno your motor with the headers or Exh Manifolds it will use, if not I can't think of a faster way to waste your money and walk away with erroneous numbers, especially if dyno headers are found/ used that have a merge type collector as many do, yet the average race header no less street header does not!

    Larry,

Love the look of your BBB engine?
What Carb size and Intake you running?
    Stefs oil pan?

How much power did you make?

    Thanks

The carburetor is an AED 1000HO carburetor, it's like a Holley 1000 DP. On the street, I run an 800 CFM Quadrajet.

The intake is a TA SP1

The oil pan is a Steve Reynolds Pan (SRE)

    Here is the Dyno sheet,

Those do look different. I'm pretty sure any local place around me will not have them, and prob won't buy a set just to do one engine

    Larry,

Those are some very impressive numbers.....I want to learn more.
I will head over to your build thread and start reading :)

    Thank you for sharing

    Scott,

Those are the standard TA 2012 headers... flanges are just cut off, as those are my dedicated dyno headers. They never leave the dyno shop.
