Just purchased my newest... 57 Century, the brakes were out so the seller
was rocking the car back and forth between drive and reverse to control
it from taking off while loading on my trailer. I fear he has been doing that
for some time as I noticed when I unloaded off trailer there was no locking
the car in park. When I put it in park the car continues to roll. I guess the pin for park in the trans is broken. Should I start crying uncontrollably or is this
a reasonable fix that does not require removal or replacement of the trans ???
    Thanks...

1BadWagon i got too many parts.....

sounds like the parking pawl is sheared off or missing. i never built a dinoflow before so i dont know of the exact setup but you can usually access the pawl by dropping the pan on most trannys.
