Dumb Vin Question, Please Help!

    i just bought a 67 special and cant find the vin on the car anywhere. ive looked all over the car. anyone have a smart answer for a dumb question?

    There should be a cowl tag on the firewall a few inches left of the wiper motor and the vin tag is on the dr. side on the body (where the door hinges mount) which is visible with the door open about the same height as the parking brake pad.
