No, but almost. I was going a little North from here(bout 1 hour) trying to fill up on good gas and theres some country roads on the way. In 4.2 miles with the highbeams on,we counted 13 alive and running and 4 dead. They are a little easier to spot with the high beams as long as it aint too foggy. Thats why I was asking about those dual beam headlights.But thanks for the concern. I dont know what Id do if I tore the Cat up. Theres a guy with one up the street from me with another 66 4door parts car for sale. Bad news is the 401 is froze and missing carb and air cleaner,been sittin outside for a few years.Not really any good sheetmetal on it. Front and rear seats look super clean and the rear bumper is pretty clean. Other than that I dont think theres too much useful/desired stuff on it. Maybe alm drums?trim pieces and emblems? I might go up there and offer him a couple bucks for it. Its been sittin in his dads coffee shop parking lot since May. Maybe he needs some extra Xmas money.:laugh:
Hey Andy, I just got my Spectre 728 kit this morning. :Brow: I dont know if you have one yet, but I ordered mine from JEGS. I just checked and they still have them on sale. Total price delivered $111.98 It was the best deal I could find for a kit. I think Spectre themselves wanted like $175 or something. Good, I'm glad you didn't cream a deer. That would be a bad start to the Holidays. And yes, that's actually the exact kit I ordered. It's been on sale for about 6 months :laugh: . I need to get my butt in gear and make some progress!
Sorry, ram air air-cleaner isn't currently installed, and no pics on file. I use the original 2x4 air cleaner and run emissions-hose ducting from the headlight bucketsto the snorkels. The original style hi/low beams were moved from the outside to the inside positions. That way the ducting can be routed around the battery.
