Tom.....i've had probably 50 wood wheels over the years......what you been smok'in  How many you see in these photo's ? Got your funds :TU: Peace WildBill p.s.....that was a good price for that wheel !
Bill, the wheels are the same are they not?I thought the difference was the horn bar.Riv's having a "R" in the center and the Wilcats having the Tri Shield emblem.
Rick, I`d love to have purchased the wheel but more than I`d be willing to pay for a horn cap...even the rare tri-shirld version! Bill, I think you have me confused with Tom Klepsky. Tom Klepsky, the horn bar and cap are seperate pieces. The tri-shield cap was only offered on the `66 Wildcat....very cool! Tom Mooney P.S. Still looking for a tri-shield horn cap!
Tom M.....no, i knew it was Tom K.......:Brow: Peace WildBill p.s......you can make a nice approximation of the Tri-Shield cap by taking a Riv cap....cutting out the center and inserting a NOS or repo 66-70 Elecrta chrome wheel hub tri-shield center.
It would look really cool to use a Wildcat hub center. I think there was a black 66 cat on ebay a few years ago that had done that.
Steve......that wood wheel cap with the Wildcat center was probably one of my conversions or a wheel that i sold someone......i did over twenty of them if i recall correctly. Peace WildBill
I think Lazy (dualqwad) might have -- he went through like 5 or 6 wheels and wheel assemblies to put together that one -- whomever did get it I'm sure will enjoy it (it sure woulda looked nice in Carmen) ok, a lil rant, & I'll move on -- friggen ebay pulled the aircleaner ad even though I added "DUE TO EBAY/PAYPAL POLICIES -- WINNING BIDDER WILL NOT BE CHARGED THE 3% CONVENIENCE FEE IMPOSED BY PAYPAL!!" to my ad. Oh well chock it up as yet another "wonderfull opertunity for growth." for those who may have been interested, here's the re-listing
my brother had some models to over 150 of 'em and counting... here's a very nice '66 Riviera that's gonna end up goin for cheap!!
